These terms govern your use of kitchenconnectuk.com ("the platform") operated by Lucas Clancy trading as Kitchen Connect UK ("we", "us", "our"). By using the platform, you agree to these terms.
1. Our service
Kitchen Connect UK is an online platform that provides AI-generated kitchen design concepts, indicative pricing estimates, and connections to vetted kitchen supplier partners. We act as an introducer between homeowners and kitchen suppliers. We are not a party to any contract between you and a supplier.
2. AI design tool
- AI-generated kitchen designs are concept visualisations intended for inspiration and planning purposes only. They are not architectural drawings, technical plans, or building specifications.
- Designs are generated by third-party AI technology and may not precisely reflect what is achievable in your specific space. Room dimensions, structural constraints, plumbing, electrics, and building regulations must be assessed by a qualified professional.
- By uploading photos, you confirm you have the right to use those images and that they do not contain content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights.
3. Pricing estimates
- All pricing shown on the platform is indicative and based on our pricing model calibrated from real supplier data. Prices are estimates only and are not quotes, offers, or guarantees.
- Actual costs will vary based on site conditions, exact specifications, supplier pricing, material availability, and installation complexity. Final pricing is agreed directly between you and your chosen supplier.
- We are not responsible for any difference between our estimates and the final price quoted or charged by a supplier.
4. Beat a Quote
- Our Beat a Quote service provides an indicative comparison against a quote you already hold, based on the information and any documents you provide.
- Comparisons are estimates, not offers, and we do not guarantee that we or our supplier partners can beat any particular quote.
- Any final price is agreed directly between you and the supplier. Response timescales given on the platform are estimates, not commitments.
5. Supplier connections
- When you request a quote, we share your contact details and design preferences with one or more vetted supplier partners in your area.
- We vet suppliers for quality and professionalism, but we are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work carried out by a supplier. Any contract for kitchen supply or installation is solely between you and the supplier.
- We are not liable for any disputes, damages, losses, or defects arising from work carried out by a supplier connected through our platform.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information including kitchen dimensions, contact details, and budget.
- Ensure any photos uploaded are of your own property or you have permission to use them.
- Make your own independent assessment of any supplier before entering into a contract with them.
7. Intellectual property
The Kitchen Connect UK name, logo, website content, pricing model, and platform design are our intellectual property. AI-generated kitchen designs created during your session may be used by you for personal planning purposes. You may share them with suppliers for quote purposes. You may not use them for commercial purposes without our permission.
8. Limitation of liability
- The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI design generation depends on third-party services which may experience downtime. We are not liable for any loss caused by platform unavailability.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms at any time. The "last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
